Carry on my wayward son…
Hi Dad!
The job or the nose ring?
Unfortunately, I’m going to have to choose job. Sorry, nose ring.
My wedding's gonna be sweet.
My cousin got married over the weekend, and it made me think about what I want my wedding to be like:
- super short ceremony (maybe one from an Eastern religion, because let’s face it, that’d be SO Jessie)
- lots of speeches. I want basically the whole bridal party to make speeches and maybe also the parents. I also want to write my own vows.
- a DJ, and the songs for dancing should...
This is why Eric and I don’t have friends.
Lessons from this weekend are four-fold:
1. Remember to always check and ensure that slutty underwear is not exposed while climbing onto pieces of art on display. Especially when others start to catcall.
2. Do not make jokes with biblical allusions to fraternity boys. They will not understand.

True Life: I'm obsessed with "Up"
Mmmm...
Summa lovin’ + cupcakes = good day.
Melissa’s red velvet cupcakes make my world go round. She gave me a plateful today, and I came home after work greeted with one cupcake left and my dad’s question, “how does she get them so moist?” Thanks guys.
And now I think I’m going to see Up for the third time? Hahahah. YES.
You can’t judge a book by where it was published.

THIRD EYE - JUNE 18!
Not only is Third Eye Blind coming to San Jose this summer, they’re playing for FREE as part of the San Jose summer Music in the Park series. It’s insane. I am so excited. It’s actually a little gross…

Seattle, WA
I spent this weekend in Seattle and it was absolutely fantastic. It reminded me of Portland in a lot of ways but much larger, cleaner and more urban. The visit definitely reinforced that I know I want to live in a city when I get a little older. Capitol Hill (the neighborhood where Seattle U is in) is fabulous. So many gays. Awesome shopping. Two thumbs up.
Seriously, California??

I cannot wait
for Genevieve Kelly to come home to San Jose. Just sayin’.
