My wedding’s gonna be sweet.

My cousin got married over the weekend, and it made me think about what I want my wedding to be like:

- super short ceremony (maybe one from an Eastern religion, because let’s face it, that’d be SO Jessie)

- lots of speeches. I want basically the whole bridal party to make speeches and maybe also the parents. I also want to write my own vows.

- a DJ, and the songs for dancing should be a mixture of cheesy oldies and ironicly terrible contemporary music.

- I don’t want to be “given” by my father for my hand in marriage. Too archaic. 

- Most of the budget should go to an awesome open bar, and all the bridesmaids are going to do a shot before walking down the isle.

Just some thoughts. I’m really excited to do that, if you haven’t noticed.
